RTS-X software version 1.4.18 is our second hotfix release for version 1.4.

This update provides quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, and positions the software for automatic tool changer support in version 1.5.

Notable changes include:

  • Improvements to jump-to-line features, fix bug when jumping in some tool paths with many small arcs
  • Improvements to the network management settings on Raspberry Pi and Redline platforms and better support for dual band WiFi networks
  • Improved motion planning and smoothing when jogging at high speeds with the gamepad or on-screen jogging controller
  • Improvements to the web interface to handle unreliable network connections and weak WiFi network connections
  • Fixes for font and graphic element scaling on different operating systems

RTS-X Software V1.4.6 Release

RTS-X software version 1.4.6 is our big cross-platform software release.

This major update adds support for Windows, Linux and Mac desktop computers and laptops. Our software now supports dynamic scaling, more screen resolutions and screen scaling.

Other notable changes include:

  • A new welcome wizard to load machine defaults and get your machine up and running fast!
  • Improvements to the web interface including more robust file uploads, expanded webcam support, and a responsive layout for mobile devices
  • Improvements to the experimental jump-to-line feature including new status readouts
  • User-requested support for individual output control using m-codes (M64, M65)

RTS-X software version 1.2.2 was released today!

This major update adds new jog controls and jog functionality enabling smooth jogging in any direction, not just the cardinal directions.
